Chorheft is a part book for choir singers. It was built so that a singer's entries, bar notes, rehearsal log and preferences stay on their own device. This page explains, in full, what the app does and does not collect.
What Chorheft collects
Nothing is collected by the developer. Chorheft has no account system, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no server to send data to. The App Store's own privacy questionnaire for Chorheft is answered "Data Not Collected."
What is stored, and where
Everything you enter into Chorheft is stored locally, on your device only:

None of this is uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere. If you delete Chorheft, this data is deleted with it. Settings includes a button to erase everything on demand.
Camera and Photo Library
Chorheft asks for camera access and photo library access only when you choose to attach a picture of a pencil-marked passage to a bar note. Photos you capture or select are copied into the app's own storage and are never uploaded to any server. You can decline either permission and continue using every other part of the app.
Notifications
If you turn on rehearsal reminders, Chorheft schedules local notifications directly on your device using Apple's notification framework. No push notification service or remote server is involved, and no data about you is sent anywhere to schedule or deliver them.
In-app browser for score links
A piece can store a link to its public-domain score page (for example on CPDL or IMSLP) or to your choir's own website. Chorheft opens that page inside the app in a standard web view only when you tap the link. Pages you choose to visit this way are subject to that site's own privacy practices, which Chorheft does not control. Chorheft does not track which links you open.
Third parties
Chorheft contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software development kits. No data about you or your device is shared with any company.
Children's privacy
Chorheft is a general-audience utility that does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from anyone at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new "last updated" date above.
